Those
of you who loves witches, wizards, and adventurous stories, you'll
love Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
Last weekend
I finally saw the movie that everyone was talking about, the Lord
of the Rings, the motion picture based on the first of the sci-fi
trilogy novels written by John Tolkien. A three hour adventure with
Frodo and his companions turned out to be quite exhilarating. The
movie is filled with magical creatures, evil monsters, as well as
beautiful scenery. The plot was wonderfully written and the characters
both evil and good are portrayed with great detail.
The film follows
Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), a Hobbit who has come across the One
Ring an evil ring that has the power to control all of creation.
Along with a fellowship of eight others, Frodo embarks on a mission
to destroy the ring in the fires of far-away Mount Doom in order
to save the world. During their journey, the fellowship runs into
all manner of disaster and catastrophe and are hunted and tormented
at every turn.
The music in
the movie was surprisingly astonishing, it compliments with the
poetic feeling of the whole movie. The movie portrayed love, evil,
friendship, and courtship. The graphics and fight scenes are realistic.
There are parts that are adrenaline rushing and there are parts
that just sooths and calms you Overall I thought it was a terrific
movie, I would recommend you to see it for yourself. -jyl
