The Plot:
A military unit is sent into a secret underground city to destroy a psychotic computer mainframe. Meanwhile, the team is confronted with the flesh eating dead who are out to devour them. Resident Evil, a movie based on the popular video game, offers a haunting setting and a few jumpy moments. But is it worth your chump change? I don't think so. Starring Milla Jovoich (5th Element) and Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast and the Furious).

My 2 Cents:
I know that you can't expect too much from movies inspired by video games, but come on! This is ridiculous. The pot, I'll say bluntly, is retarded. How cliché can you get? An artificial intelligence calling the shots and the "Return of the Living Dead" wiping out humanity. Gag me with a spoon. Better yet, throw me the Sixth Sense DVD. Sure, I flinched a couple times. But will I get nightmares? Highly unlikely. Do yourself a favor. Pass this one out and save your dough until the next Wes Craven flick comes out.
